Randi Stevens - Head Trainer/Owner

Randi is a graduate from Tarleton State University class of 2011. She has a track and basketball background from high school and college. Also while in college she trained in Mixed Martial Arts for a year and completed a marathon. Randi first started CrossFit with her husband, Ben Stevens, in Aug 2011. She used to train with the bodybuilding type workouts and some endurance running but became frustrated with not getting the results she really wanted. For Randi, CrossFit really showed her a new kind of "fit." She had never done gymnastic movements or any Olympic weightlifting before so it challenged her in new and different ways. Randi usually catches on to movements and techniques very quickly and she was shocked when she could not do some of the basic body weight movements. Randi is a competitor whether it’s a friendly game of checkers or a championship basketball game she is giving her best effort. Randi is challenged mentally and physically every day by CrossFit. She has succeeded in accomplishing CrossFit goals she never thought she would be able to do. She is stronger, more flexible, more agile, and more "fit" than she was when she was 19 years old playing collegiate sports. Her comments continue to be…It takes time, hard work, effort, tears, and a few cuss words but most of all determination.  After a year and a half of training, Randi competed in the CrossFit Open 2013 and went on to place 21st at the South Central Regionals. Her goal is to one day be able to compete in the CrossFit Games. After a year of CrossFit, Randi received her L1 Certification in December 2012, and shortly after, she received her CrossFit Kids Certification in March 2013. Randi's passion is coaching and helping people reach their goals. Nothing is more satisfying to her than watching someone "grow" as an athlete through CrossFit, it is truly life changing.
