Ben Stevens - Owner

Ben grew up in North Richland Hills, TX. He has been involved in competitive sports since he was young. His main sport was baseball, which he played throughout high school. When he got to college he could never find that competitive feeling that he had with baseball until he found CrossFit. CrossFit gave him the same adrenaline rush and feeling that he had when playing baseball back in high school. Ben became a CrossFit level 1 trainer back in April 2011 because he wanted to give people that same adrenaline rush that he felt. He developed the first CrossFit program at Tarleton State University called TeXanFit. He loves bringing out the best in people and watching them achieve goals that they thought they would never reach. Ben is very passionate in teaching the Olympic movements. Ben has worked with Chad Vaughn, 2004 Olympian, and has also worked with Dmitry Klokov, silver medalist at the 2008 Olympic Games, in order to better his knowledge in these Olympic movements so that he can better coach his athletes. His overall goal is to make it to CrossFit Regional’s and hopefully the games one day.
